Are your suppliers healthy?  Financially distressed suppliers are unlikely to meet your firm’s supply chain performance needs.  Declining quality and delivery ratings, inability to meet cost reduction goals, poor commercial behavior – you’re much more likely to have these issues with distressed suppliers.  Even worse, supplier bankruptcies often result in massive ‘work-out’ costs and may jeopardize your production volume schedules.  Without a financial health assessment, your supply team has virtually no vision into financial distress concerns lurking within your supply base! Ratings provided by credit agencies may provide useful customer credit limit guidance but those ratings will not provide your firm with a meaningful supplier financial health analysis and will not provide supply risk mitigation recommendations.   Our experts will analyze your supplier’s financial statements, identify ‘red flags’, discuss concerns with the supplier’s finance team, review turnaround plans, and model key financial ratios in a proven-out scoring model.  When needed, they can also work with your purchasing team to develop a tailored risk mitigation strategy!
